Clean water is the most important chemical reagent in alaboratory. Hydrolab offers systems producing water fittingthe parameters of every water purity class, specified in PN--EN ISO 3696:1999, ASTM, CLSI, FP standards.The quality of water in a modern laboratory, dependingon its usage, should remain unchanged and proper, andits parameters (for example conductivity and temperature)should be constantly monitored. Basic standard of waterquality in force in Poland are PN-EN ISO 3696:1999 foranalytical laboratories, and Farmakopea Polska IX for pharmaceutical.The PN-EN ISO 3696:1999 standard describesthree classes of water purity:
Class 1Water without diluted contamination (colloidal ionic ororganic), meeting the most strict analytical requirements,including a high-performance liquid chromatography. It isadvised to obtain it from second purity class water, treatingit with further processes (filtering through 0,2 μm membranefor substance removal, or double distillation in a quartzapparatus).Class 2Water with very low non-organic, organic and colloidalcontamination. Should be obtained by a deionization ordeionization forwarded by a reverse osmosis.Class 3Water for general purposes, used for „wet” chemical tasks.Obtained by a single distillation, a deionization or a reverseosmosis.General information• Powered fed by: tap water.• Efficiency: 5-60 l/h.• Water intake speed: 1-2 I/min.• Retention level > 96-99%.• Bacteria < 1cfu/ml *NormPurity class od the demineralized water fits the PN-EN ISO3696:1999 standard for a third class of water purity.UsageThe obtained water may be used for mediums, buffer solutions,reagents.
